Neoclassical Obelisk with Plaster Intaglios

Inspired by European Grand Tour antiques, I have repurposed and repainted this charming wooden obelisk statuette with Italian-made plaster intaglio reproductions. The obelisk is painted in a beautiful slate gray, though the color itself does appear more blue than gray. There are six black plaster intaglio depicting a variety of portraits and neoclassical scenes. This item is one of a kind and has been made using vintage items and modern reproductions; price reflects the unique and handmade aspects of this special antique-inspired piece. Please inspect the listing photos closely for details on the condition of this piece; there is some remaining evidence of the original decorative paint job underneath (look closely and you can see raised dots) so please be advised of this when purchasing.
