Antique Staffordshire Pink Splash Lustreware Saucer

A stunning example of pink lustreware. This saucer has a Staffordshire maker’s mark on the bottom, but is done in the style of the Sunderland Pink Splash Lustreware pieces of the early 19th century. Truly a gorgeous vibrant pink color with splashes of lighter pink and with the iridescent shine, for which the style in named. There is some color fading along the rim, and two browned small chips on the surface of the saucer.
