Framed Cigarette Trade Cards

An interesting and beautiful way of mixing the old with the new. These antique trade cards are framed in an acrylic frame to be enjoyed from the front and the back as the fronts feature a full-color illustration, with a description on the back. These cards range in age from 50-100 years old! Cigarette cards are trade cards issued by tobacco manufacturers to stiffen cigarette packaging and advertise cigarette brands. Between 1875 and the 1940s, cigarette companies often included collectible cards with their packages of cigarettes. We love the bright colors of this piece and think it would look amazing standing up on a shelf or coffee table, or laying flat. A truly unique offering! The cards are in excellent antique condition in a brand new acrylic frame which is easily held by magnets for ease of taking apart and cleaning.
