Late 19th Century Old Paris Hand Painted Compote Stand

$55.00

This beautiful compote stand, or fruit dish, isĀ  hand painted with wide pink borders, delicate gold line detail, and a colorful floral wreath in the middle. The manufacturing mark on the bottom reads 1812. The piece remains in very good antique condition. The top dish of the stand does not appear to be level, though this is a manufacturing flaw and does not impact the function of the piece. There are no chips or cracks, though there is wear to the hand painted details consistent with the age and previous use of this piece; as shown in the photographs. Please inspect the listing photographs closely for all other details.

This piece is approximately 9 inches in diameter across the top of the compote and is 4.5 inches tall.
