Vintage Faux Burl Wood Tin Box with Floral Detail

This beautiful box came to us by way of an interior designer who made regular buying trips to Europe and was downsizing her collection in preparation to make a move to France; how wonderful! While we do not know the original provenance, it appears to be an antique English piece and certainly is a very unique addition to any vignette with its wood-like print and floral motif. It would be a beautiful display piece with added functional value, useful for storing little things around the house you may not otherwise want on display. The dimensions of the box are 8.25″ x 4.5″ x ~2″ and though there is obvious wear to the print on the tin,  we believe it adds to the character and the condition is consistent to the age and use of the piece and it is in great secondhand condition.
