A charming pair of authentic antique Staffordshire Pottery Mantel Dogs in a beautiful black and white color palette with bright gold collars and lockets with black chains. Though not as common as the white pairs, this unmarked duo is sure to be a beautiful focal point on your mantel, in your bookcase, or wherever you decide to place them! These dogs are in very good antique condition (likely later 19th century) with minimal scattered wear to the enamel and glazing but with no cracks (the line on the back of the one dog’s head appears as a crack but is not), fractures, or chips. Each dog is nearly 12 inches tall, 8 inches long, and almost 4 inches wide.
