A charming miniature portrait with added little gilded metal details of General Étienne-Marie-Antoine Champion de Nansouty; a French cavalry commander during the French Revolutionary Wars who then later rose to the rank of General of Division in 1803 and subsequently held important military commands during the Napoleonic Wars. This piece would make a good addition to a gallery wall, or stacked above another piece of art. It would also work well on a little easel for display on a shelf or bookcase vignette. Some wear consistent with the age and previous use of this vintage piece. Please inspect the listing details for further condition details.
This piece is approximately 2.75 inches by 4 inches.
